The Shattered Glass is one of the better known, but affordable restaraunts in New Hearth. Featuring an all-ages restaraunt section which specializes in coastal cuisine, including seafood and Slate-style barbecue, it features a constant flow of clientele. The other side is the bar, which is hooked up constantly to a feed from the League Free Stadium, as well as pool tables, and a selection of pub-style seafood which, contrary to its status as a bar, is actually decent and decently priced.
The building itself is a stately, older-looking building with a beige-and-red colorscheme, a broken wineglass logo displayed proudly over the double entrances. The bar side is done in mahoganies and dark reds, giving it a dignified aire and also leaving it gentle on the eyes of the... less than sober. The restaraunt is mostly a richer red, featuring well-cushioned chairs, real wooden tables and booth seats. A second door about halfway down the room leads to the outside eating area, which on most fair-weather days is almost full to capacity.
The Shattered Glass serves regular seafood done Slate style, and is well known for its seafood pasta and lobster-and-steak. It also serves steaks and, for those summer days when you want a lighter lunch, an assortment of sandwiches, soups and burgers. Drinks are pretty much anything you can imagine - and doubly so for the bar, as that encompasses alcohol too. It's a favorite meeting place of trainers, and the local Gym leader, Marcus, has been seen here occasionally too.
