With a sliding wooden door and the constant sound of Gregorian Chant audible in the background (Kristof plays it over speakers, though he'll never admit it isn't actual monks), the Greenrook Gym makes an impression. The Livery of House Heinrichs is in proud display, harkening back to the Leader's ancestry, and replica paintings of those found inside the castle line the walls, next to swords, maces, axes, pikes and other medieval relics. An armor rack holding a suit of full plate stands in each corner, overlooking the raised platform, built of stone, that is set in the center. On the far wall is Kristof's throne, made of gilded gold and detailed with extensive filligree.
A sheathed fencing saber sits beside the throne at all times, basket-hilted and ornate in make, a symbol of authority and aristocracy. The raised platform has very clearly marked boundaries and is intended to be a replica of a duelling ring - Kristof very heavily attempts to bring about an illusion of his family's heydey.
Trainers setting foot in this Gym should be cautious - Kristof is renowned for sticking to a theme with his team, but it isn't a typical elemental theme. Expecting to achieve a one-type win against him would be ill-advised, given that his entire goal is to honor the image of knightly society, right through to having Kings and Queens within his Pokeballs. But at the same time, the rigidity of his concept might leave holes that could be... easily exploited, if you can think on your feet.
Defeating Kristof will reward a trainer with the Chivalry Badge, an iron cross in pewter and gold with a coat of arms laser-engraved at its centre. Obtaining the Chivalry badge will allow the challenger to use the Strength HM, and represents the first half of the South-Eastern Circuit. In addition to the badge, victorious trainers will receive the Strength HM, as well as £1200.
Successful trainers looking to finish the circuit off should look to Olbregin City for their final challenge - it is easy to proceed from there to the South-Western circuit, as well.
