LegendThe red squares are towns or cities with gyms in them. Yellow squares are towns without gyms, and blue squares are significant landmarks, but not cities or towns of any flavor. Navigating the WorldThere's only one rule, really. Try to progress through locations logically. If you're in New Hearth, you shouldn't just pop up at Heaven's Peak unless you have a Pokemon who knows Fly (and, in fact, you will need Surf and Fly to even reach that island). Likewise, if you get into a scene in one location thread but still want to move on to the next area, time in Slate is fluid, so you can. Please try to limit the number of areas you're posting in at least by a little bit, though - it starts to get difficult to reconcile things when you're in five places at once. However, as you can see, there is a lot of space that hasn't been covered on the map. Slate is a very large region, after all. So, if you can think of a way to get from one point to another that doesn't follow the regular routes, just contact a mod with your planned travel path. If they give you the OK, you get your own location thread in which to travel. But, as a precaution, the wilderness is not as heavily patrolled by the regional rangers as the routes are, and the Pokemon that dwell within them are largely undocumented. You might encounter something you can't necessarily handle...
